This Privacy Policy explains how Product Conversion Monitor
(“the App”, “we”, “us”), operated by
2gether2shine, collects, uses, and
protects information when a merchant installs the App on their Shopify store.
We are committed to data minimization: the App is built to collect only what it
needs to measure product conversion, and nothing more.
In short: we track product views, add-to-carts, and purchases
to calculate per-product conversion rates and alert merchants to declines. We do
not collect customer names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or
payment details.
1. Information we collect
Storefront activity (via a Shopify web pixel)
Product and variant identifiers of items that are viewed or added to cart
The event type (view or add-to-cart) and a timestamp
The store’s myshopify.com domain
Order activity (via the Shopify Admin API)
Order identifiers, product/variant identifiers, and quantities purchased
The order’s creation timestamp
Merchant account information
Your store domain and the contact email associated with your store (used to
send alert digests)
Authentication tokens required to connect to your store
2. Information we do NOT collect
The App does not collect or store customer personal data — no names, email
addresses, phone numbers, shipping or billing addresses, IP addresses, or payment
information. Order data is reduced to product/variant identifiers and quantities
only.
3. How we use information
To calculate per-product views, add-to-cart rate, and conversion rate
To detect statistically significant declines and generate alerts
To send merchants in-app notifications and an optional weekly email digest
To provide and support the App’s functionality for the merchant
We do not use this data for advertising, and we never sell or share it.
4. Data storage and security
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon, encrypted at rest, and
transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Access is restricted to the
App’s operators.
5. Data retention
Raw storefront events are automatically deleted after 60 days.
Aggregated, non-identifying daily statistics are retained for
30 days (Free plan) or 12 months (paid plans).
All of a store’s data is deleted when the App is uninstalled and the data
is redacted, as described below.
6. Sub-processors
We rely on the following service providers to operate the App:
Shopify — platform and APIs
Neon — database hosting
Resend — email delivery for the weekly digest
7. Customer data requests & deletion (GDPR / CCPA)
The App honors Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks. Because the App does not
store customer-identifying data:
Customer data request — we hold no personal data tied to an
individual customer to return.
Customer redaction — any purchase records associated with the
specified orders are deleted.
Shop redaction — all of the store’s data is permanently
deleted (typically within 48 hours of uninstall).
Merchants and their customers may also contact us at the address below to request
access to, or deletion of, any data we hold.
8. Cookies and consent
The App’s storefront pixel runs in Shopify’s privacy-aware sandbox and is
configured for the analytics purpose. Where a shopper’s consent is
required, the pixel only collects data after analytics consent is given. The App
does not set its own advertising or marketing cookies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be
reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
