1. Scope & parties
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern every booking made through 2gether2shine.at with 2gether2shine GmbH, Vienna, Austria (“we”, “us”, “2gether2shine”). They apply to the customer making the booking (“you”, “the customer”).
By submitting a booking, requesting a free evaluation, or using any feature on the site, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. How a booking forms a contract
Listings, prices and time slots shown on the site are an invitation to make an offer, not a binding offer. A contract is formed only once we send a written booking confirmation (by e-mail) for the requested date, time and service. Until then we may, at our discretion, decline a booking — for example if no cleaner is available in your area on the requested slot.
3. Services & cleaner relationship
2gether2shine operates a marketplace that connects customers with independent, background-checked cleaning professionals (“cleaners”). Cleaning is performed on the date and within the time window confirmed in your booking.
- Each cleaning is performed by one cleaner unless the booking explicitly states otherwise.
- Estimated durations are based on typical homes of comparable size; actual time on site may vary depending on condition and clutter.
- Unless you book the “Equipment provided” option, the customer supplies all cleaning materials (cloths, sprays, vacuum, mop, etc.).
4. Prices, deposits & payment
All prices on the site are quoted in Euro (€) and include Austrian VAT where applicable. Hourly prices are per cleaner and per hour.
- For one-time, deep, move-in/out and last-minute services, the price of the first hour is due at booking as a non-refundable deposit (subject to the cancellation rules in §5 and the right of withdrawal in §6).
- The remaining amount is invoiced after the cleaning has been completed.
- For office and gym/studio cleaning, payment terms are agreed in writing before service starts.
5. Cancellation & rescheduling
- Free — if you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
- 50% of the booking value — if you cancel less than 24 hours, but more than 2 hours, before the scheduled start time.
- 100% of the booking value — if you cancel within 2 hours of the start time, or if the cleaner cannot access the property at the agreed time (no key, no answer, wrong address).

6. Right of withdrawal (distance contracts)
If you are a consumer within the meaning of §1 KSchG, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from any contract concluded at a distance (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz, FAGG).
Where you expressly request that the cleaning be performed within this 14-day period — for example by booking a same-day or next-day slot — you acknowledge that, upon full performance of the cleaning, your right of withdrawal lapses (§ 18 (1) Z 1 FAGG). For partially performed cleanings, a proportional fee remains payable.
7. Satisfaction guarantee & complaints
If something is not done to your satisfaction, please notify us within 48 hours of the cleaning by e-mail with a short description and, where possible, photos. We will then either re-clean the affected areas free of charge or, at our option, refund the part of the price that relates to those areas. This goes alongside, and does not replace, any statutory warranty rights you may have.
8. Liability & insurance
2gether2shine and its cleaners are insured for damage caused through fault during a cleaning. We are liable, within the scope of Austrian law, for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is limited to the value of the affected booking, except for personal injury.
Please point out items that are particularly delicate or valuable (e.g. antiques, electronics, marble) before the cleaning starts. Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage that becomes visible only after cleaning is not covered.
9. Access, keys & safety
You are responsible for ensuring safe and timely access to the property at the agreed time. If keys are handed over, they are stored anonymously and returned at the end of the engagement. We may refuse to perform a cleaning if the property is unsafe (e.g. severe biohazards, infestations, structural damage) or if a third party present at the property behaves in a threatening manner toward the cleaner.
10. Data protection
We process your personal data in accordance with the EU GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect, why, and the rights you have.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our service or in the law. The version that applies to a booking is the one published on this page on the date the booking is confirmed.
12. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms and any contract concluded under them are governed by Austrian law, excluding the conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers domiciled in Austria, the statutory rules on jurisdiction (in particular § 14 KSchG) apply. For all other cases, the competent court in Vienna shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Online dispute resolution: the European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged, and not generally willing, to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
